Creating a Promotion (Part 1)

Introducing the Haunted Film Extravaganza. This is a week-long online event made for horror fans. Every day, we’ll feature a different horror movie and post trivia questions about it on social media. Participants can answer the trivia questions for a chance to win prizes and interact with other horror enthusiasts. Each correct answer gives participants an entry to win a daily prize and a shot at the grand prize at the end of the week. The event ends with a live-streamed finale. This live will feature a horror movie marathon, special guest appearances, and a final trivia showdown. Fans can join the live stream to compete for the ultimate “Horror Fan Bundle,” which includes horror collectibles, streaming service gift cards, and tickets to a horror convention.


The event's main goals are to grow our brand’s social media following, boost engagement, and bring horror fans together for a fun and interactive experience. Success will be measured by tracking participation in the trivia, social media engagement, new followers, and attendance on the live stream. For the daily prizes, I think horror merchandise like t-shirts, posters, and gift cards would be good to gift. All participants who answer at least one trivia question will get a small reward, like a discount code or digital wallpaper. By hosting the Haunted Film Extravaganza, we’re giving horror fans an exciting way to enjoy their favorite genre while connecting with our brand.
